Who are we?
At FLA Leadership, we are on a mission to increase cognitive diversity in leadership. Through academies, events, and networking initiatives, we support students and young professionals in developing their skills and connecting with organisations and role models.
Your Role
As Events Associate in Aalborg, you will play a key role in planning and executing events that create valuable and inspiring experiences for our community. Through well-structured initiatives, you will help bring students, professionals, and partners together in settings that encourage connection, networking, and development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating events from idea to execution
- Managing logistics, timelines, and practical details
- Reaching out to speakers, companies, and potential partners
- Coordinating with suppliers such as venues, catering, and photographers
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, including Marketing, to ensure strong promotion and participation
- Gathering feedback and identifying improvements to strengthen future events
As the Aalborg team continues to grow, you will have the opportunity to influence how we structure and develop our events locally. This means real responsibility, close collaboration with the national organisation, and the chance to help shape the direction of our presence in Aalborg.
Who Are You?
You are motivated by creating engaging and meaningful events and by building strong, professional relationships. You enjoy taking ownership, thinking creatively, and turning ideas into structured execution.
You are proactive and comfortable reaching out to speakers, partners, and collaborators. You take responsibility for following up and ensuring that tasks are completed with quality and attention to detail.
We value experience within event planning, partnerships, or community building, but most importantly, we are looking for someone who is genuinely motivated to contribute to FLA’s mission of increasing diversity in leadership.
Time Commitment
We expect approximately 5-10 hours a week to be dedicated to your FLA tasks. This will vary depending on the workload in the organisation, your exam periods, and other responsibilities.
The Team
You will join a growing Aalborg team working to strengthen FLA’s local presence while collaborating closely with the national organisation. As part of a smaller team, you will have real influence and work closely with motivated volunteers who share a commitment to FLA’s mission.
