Who are you?

You want to be part of a team of highly engaged volunteers who believe deeply in the purpose of FLA. You want to help amplify the FLA mission at your university(CBS, KU, ITU, DTU, RUC)to increase diversity in leadership. You are also super organized and detail-oriented, love making connections, and building networks. You know the ins and outs of what’s happening at your university, how to reach your fellow students and how to identify the right promotional platforms for FLA. You will be able to work closely with the other teams in FLA, including Student Operations.

The Role

As a Student Ambassador, you will serve as the primary lead for activity planning at your university while proactively identifying new opportunities to promote FLA within the academic environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Ambassador team to plan and execute events, enhance promotional processes, and coordinate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across all FLA teams.

This position is hands-on and provides the opportunity to develop and apply skills in public communication, stakeholder management, project- and eventplanning. The time commitment for this role is approximately 5 hours per week, depending on ongoing projects. The workload may vary during periods of major initiatives or decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on-campus promotion of the Students’ Academy, Info Night and other FLA activities by organizing coffee handouts and related visibility activities.
  • Managing logistics for FLA promotional activities, including collecting, transporting, and setting up branded materials (e.g., roll-ups, coffee cups, merchandise).
  • Supporting the growth of FLA by expanding the ambassador network, engaging in student-facing initiatives, and ensuring continuity across semesters.
  • Representing FLA’s mission and values by actively participating in activities or events that strengthen community, leadership, and visibility on campus.
  • Supporting cross-team initiatives within FLA, including Events, FLA Runs, Body & Mind activities, and other projects.

The Team

You’ll join the Student Ambassadors Team, a larger team working directly with the Student Operations team to promote and facilitate the Student Academies and events every semester. You’ll gain close exposure to event management with core FLA values and collaborate with teams across the organization.
