Head of Students Aalborg

Who are we?

At FLA Leadership, we are on a mission to increase cognitive diversity in leadership. Through academies, events, and networking initiatives, we support students and young professionals in developing their skills and connecting with organisations and role models.

As we expand to Aalborg, we are looking to establish a strong local presence and build a student community aligned with our mission.

Your Role

As Head of Students in Aalborg, you will build and represent FLA in the local student environment. You will create activities that engage students and strengthen our presence at the university.

You will plan and execute 2–4 leadership events per year focused on leadership topics, bringing in relevant speakers and creating valuable experiences. In parallel, you will build awareness through initiatives such as university fairs, campus activations, and coffee handouts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing local events with external speakers
  • Reaching out to speakers and partners
  • Building visibility through fairs, activations, and coffee handouts
  • Recruiting and leading your own team of Student Associates (approx. 2–4 people)
  • Collaborating with teams in Aalborg and across Denmark

This is a hands-on role with a strong “build-from-scratch” element, where you will have real ownership while receiving support and guidance from FLA teams in Aarhus and Copenhagen.

Who Are You?

You are proactive, independent, and comfortable taking initiative in a growing environment. You enjoy reaching out to people, creating momentum, and turning ideas into action.

You are confident in representing FLA and engaging with students and partners. You are structured enough to follow through, while staying flexible and solution-oriented.

You are motivated by FLA’s mission and excited about building a community from the ground up.

What You’ll Gain

  • Experience building a community and leading local initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with events, partnerships, and outreach
  • The opportunity to build and lead your own team
  • A strong network across students, professionals, and organisations
  • Insight into how a national organisation operates

Time Commitment

We expect approximately 5–7 hours per week, depending on activity level. The time commitment will be lower during exam periods.

The Team

You will join a small and growing Aalborg team and collaborate closely with FLA teams across Denmark. You will play a central role in shaping FLA’s local presence.
