Your Role

As our volunteer Recruitment Associate, you’ll play a key role in shaping recruitment, preboarding, and employer branding initiatives at FLA Leadership. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of People & Culture and team leads across the organisation to ensure a structured, fair, and welcoming recruitment process for every new volunteer. Through your work, you’ll contribute directly to strengthening and growing our teams in Aarhus.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with and supporting team leads with recruitment activities
  • Identifying recruiting needs each semester
  • Developing job descriptions, reviewing applications, and conducting interviews
  • Contributing to employer branding initiatives
  • Continuously enhancing recruitment processes and promotion plans
  • Securing a smooth recruitment experience from start to finish

You’ll also work closely with other teams, including Marketing and Tech, to ensure alignment and visibility of our open positions with the wider FLA network.

Who are you?

You’re someone who takes initiative and follows through. You enjoy speaking with different kinds of people, asking thoughtful questions, and understanding what motivates them. You know how to create a space where others feel comfortable and where they can present themselves at their best.

You feel comfortable collaborating across teams and building relationships across the organisation. You bring structure to your work and appreciate clear processes – especially when others depend on them.

You may have studied or worked within HR, Business, Psychology, Communication, or a related field, but it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your curiosity about people, your sense of ownership, and your motivation to help build and strengthen FLA Leadership from within. Time Commitment

Approximately 5-10 hours per week, depending on recruitment activity.

The Team

FLA Leadership in Aarhus consists of around 20 dedicated volunteers working across different teams to create inspiring and empowering leadership initiatives for students and young professionals. We meet both in person in Aarhus and virtually, combining flexibility with a strong sense of community.

You will join our local People & Culture team, where we focus on strengthening the volunteer experience and supporting the organisation’s development. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of People & Culture and collaborate with team leads across the organisation. Together, you will help ensure that we remain a welcoming, inspiring, and well-structured community built through our people.
