Home > Open positions

Are you ready to take ownership, get things done, and support a purpose-driven organization from the inside out? We’re now looking for a Leadership & Operations Associate (4-months internship March-June 2026) to join our fast-paced, impact-driven team.

Who are we

At Female Leadership Academy, we’re on a mission to increase diversity in leadership. We launched our first Academy back in 2020, and since then we’ve helped over +10.000 students and professionals develop their leadership skills and get a head-start in their careers.

The role

As our Operations Intern, you’ll play a central role in ensuring execution of Just Lead Academy and keep the smooth day-to-day running of our physical products/merchandise. You’ll take ownership of core operational tasks related to our merchandise including merchandise strategy, merchandise development, inventory management, overseeing stock levels, restocking merchandise, and handling the coordination and shipping of product orders.

You’ll also manage and maintain our Shopify platform, ensuring it’s always up-to-date with products, collections, and content. When we launch new creative product drops, you’ll act as a hands-on project manager for driving the process, making sure everything from logistics to timing runs seamlessly.

In parallel, you’ll support our Leadership & Operations Lead with coordination and execution of our Just Lead Academy. This includes assisting with event logistics, liaising with suppliers and venues, and being the onsite project lead during our academies and events. Whether it’s managing setup, ensuring smooth participant experiences, or coordinating catering and materials, you’ll be the go-to person on the ground, helping to bring our leadership program to life.

Who we think you are

  • To thrive in this role, you need to be a structured doer with a strong sense of ownership. You’re someone who finds energy in getting things done – whether it’s coordinating the shipment of a hundred parcels or ensuring every detail is in place for a leadership event.
  • You have a natural eye for customer service and you’re comfortable juggling tasks across both digital tools (like Shopify) and physical setups (like prepping venues or handling supplier coordination.
  • You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and not afraid to take initiative. When something needs to be fixed, you’re the kind of person who rolls up your sleeves and figures it out. You communicate clearly, thrive in teamwork, and bring a positive attitude even when the pace picks up.
  • Most importantly, you care about making an impact and being part of a purpose-driven team. You’re curious to learn, excited to grow, and ready to take part in building the future of inclusive leadership.

Time

We expect approx. 24 hours per week spent working closely with the Leadership & Operations Lead and other members of FLA e.g. the marketing team, as well as occasional meetings with the broader FLA organisation. Your schedule will be flexible and a combination of onsite and remote work, however some weekly onsite presence is required due to the management of parcels and inventory.

The position is unpaid.
