We are now looking for a Head of Tech to maintain and evolve our technology ecosystem across Google Workspace, Mighty Networks, ConvertKit, WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce, and Zapier – ensuring a seamless, data-driven experience for our community. Please note this is a volunteer position.

Role Overview

As Head of Tech, you will be responsible for keeping our systems running smoothly, maintaining integrations, and ensuring that data flows correctly across platforms. You’ll oversee the technical side of our marketing and membership setup, making sure automations and processes perform as intended.

Your work will ensure that new members, products, and automations are implemented correctly and that our digital operations remain reliable, efficient, and GDPR-compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor the existing Tech setup and integrations between systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues when automations or connections fail.
  • Update images and text in Elementor Pro WordPress.
  • Ensure data consistency and quality across Economics, Salesforce, Shopify, Kit, and Mighty Networks etc.
  • Support the implementation of new memberships, products, and automations.
  • Collaborate team members to improve workflows and system efficiency.
  • Document processes and maintain clear overviews of the tech stack and data flows.
  • Create new emails and make sure a consistent structure in Google Workspace
  • Train and onboard new FLA team members in systems when needed.

About you

You are structured, curious, and detail-oriented. You enjoy problem-solving and learning new tools, but you’re careful not to disrupt what’s already working.

  • Initiative to seek answers – whether by asking ChatGPT, watching tutorials, or exploring help docs.

Nice to have:

  • Some experience with MarTech systems and data flows.
  • Basic understanding of automation and data flow between marketing systems.

Time

We expect approx. 5 hours per week. This will vary depending on the workload.
