Who are we?
At FLA Leadership, we are on a mission to increase diversity in leadership. We launched our first Academy back in 2020, and since then we have helped over 200 students and professionals develop their leadership skills and get a head-start in their careers.
FLA Active is where leadership meets physical and mental well-being through energizing, purpose-driven events. We believe strong leaders are not built through knowledge alone, but through balance and that physical activity and mental well-being are essential foundations for sustainable leadership and long-term career success.
Through FLA Active, we bring together young professionals and students in unique event formats that combine movement, reflection, and meaningful connection. Our concepts include FLA Runs and FLA Body & Mind, where participants run, move, and engage in conversations about leadership, career development, and balance in life. Each event is designed to be both energizing and inspiring, creating space for learning, networking, and personal growth.
The Role
As FLA Active Associate, you will take an active role in driving and executing our community events from idea to completion. You will help shape the experience, strengthen our partnerships and ensure professional execution on the day of the event.
Your responsibilities include:
- Driving the planning and execution of FLA Active events
- Managing relationships with partners and collaborators
- Coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth on-site execution
- Collaborating with the Marketing team on promotion and community growth
- Contributing to the continued development and scaling of FLA Active Community
You will join a small, ambitious volunteer team that works closely together and collaborates across FLA Leadership to ensure alignment with our overall mission and values.
Who are you?
You are passionate about creating engaging events and building strong relationships. You enjoy taking ownership, thinking creatively and turning ideas into action.
We value relevant experience within event planning, partnerships or community building, but most importantly we are looking for someone who is motivated to contribute to FLA’s mission of increasing diversity in leadership.
It is a plus if you enjoy being active yourself.

Working Hours
We expect approximately 5-10 hours per week in this role. As events are a core part of this role, additional time may be required during peak periods leading up to events. We value flexibility, accountability and a hands-on mindset.
